We’re excited to share that Edith Cowan University’s University Department of Rural Health South West (UDRH SW) is transitioning to DVE Solutions’ placements management system – Placements Plus.
The UDRH SW team are transitioning from a spreadsheet-based student and placement management system to a fully centralised digital system.
UDRH SW and DVE have been working closely together to develop a solution that truly reflects their unique needs. The project has been highly collaborative and focused on ensuring the system supports the complex requirements of rural health placements, supervision, and reporting.
Placements Plus was chosen because it is a purpose-built platform designed to:
- improve the student experience through workflows designed to suit each student’s unique circumstance
- streamline management of the student placement experience
- improve data accuracy and integrate reporting
- schedule and support supervision management
- maintain accurate student, site and university information in real time to support ongoing engagement and future outcomes
As the team prepares for go-live, Placements Plus is already helping to improve the placement experience for UDRH SW, universities, students and sites – supporting UDRH SW’s ongoing mission to grow a sustainable health workforce in the South West.
