Compliance: Extended Registrations Announced

Now that TEQSA has announced extended periods of registration, many institutions have breathed a sigh of relief. As part of our work in Governance and Compliance, we speak to many providers – usually, when they are at ‘crisis point’ and can’t see a way forward to getting their re-registration submission together in their last-minute timeframe.

Those providers, and many more, are now ‘breathing easy’ with up to three-year extensions. Celebrate, as you may, but are you merely causing problems for ‘future-you’?

Tech: The growing need for automated workflows

The new normal of working from home is driving a need for automated workflows where actions are issued, and once a task is completed, the next task triggers automatically in the workstream. Managers also need increased visibility of the workflow to monitor the throughput and output of key personnel effectively.

Find out the current workflow frustrations and challenges the Higher Education sector is facing at the moment – and how an automated workflow would assist here.

Now is the time for the Higher Education Sector to be bold

Aristotle said, “fortune favours the bold”. Louis Pasteur had a twist on it with “fortune favours the prepared mind”. And modernising it slightly, Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, added to it with “fortune does favour the bold and you’ll never know what you are capable of if you don’t try”.

Being bold is showing a willingness to take risks – to be daring, intrepid, courageous, brave and valiant. And it’s just what the Higher Education sector needs now. Find out why you need to be harnessing opportunities to stand out from the pack here.
