This case study describes how DVE supported a higher education provider that had decided to withdraw from the sector and discontinue all AQF courses by guiding them through the complex material change and teach-out requirements set by TEQSA and the Tuition Protection Service. Through targeted advisory sessions, DVE helped the client prepare regulatory notifications, strengthen closure documentation, plan key milestones, manage risks, and ensure students’ rights and progression options were protected. As a result, the provider gained clarity on regulatory expectations, improved the quality of its submissions, and was able to navigate the transition in a structured, compliant, and student-centred manner.
